Sigh of Relief to the Present Generation of the World: An Unexplored Romance in the Light of Metaphysical Thought
Romance and love are complementary to each other. These two can form a good soul, a soul which can create a wonderful mind; mind reflects the power of our innate qualities. Nature loves each one with her immense pleasant and wonderful creations. It is necessary to save our nature and all have a major role to motivate and to explain the actual significance of romanticism which may change entirely a life resulting to positive effect to the nature to the present young generation. A new definition of romance or better to say the old one in a new form should be explained before them to give them relief. All should be thankful, as a human beings for the sensory organs that are enjoying – but the question of million dollars what is to be raised here is, whether all are gradually sinking in the dark of darkness or all are gradually improving themselves. Ultimately it is the only intention to explain metaphysical love and its high, intelligent values proclaimed a strength of mind of youth to infuse our dear world with great moral values. It may also save the earth from natural decay with their surprising discoveries.
Introduction
The so called human being of the earth revolve around the sun in peace and as per calendar time already crossed more than one-fifth of 21st century. Can all human pretend that they are the best, and the super power in this world with respect to all the qualities they possess at the moment? Perhaps, here it is agreed, a burning question of million dollars or rather a very controversial and logical topic to be discussed. Men have five senses and sometimes they claim for the sixth sense that is an innate quality one may have or may not have. All these five senses when combine, a peculiar but very much sensitive & exciting sense develops and it may be named as “romance”, a sensational sixth sense that can raise a storm in the positive direction for a creation of a new chapter on this earth. And it is interesting to judge, this sense in my paper at this moment of time. If it is said that day-by- Conceptual paper day human being are losing the natural glorification, perhaps it might not be wrong enough and that’s why one has given a stress on the word ‘best’ initially. It will be discussed the whole matter, my sixth sense romance, categorically from the extreme corner of unexplored romance. It has many more contours to be explored yet. All the human being must be thankful for the sensory organs they are enjoying – but the question of million dollars what is to be raised here is, whether all are gradually sinking in the dark of darkness or all are gradually improving ourselves: An exercise has been made on it with a deep thought and obviously with the help of my innate senses. It is my notion after nurturing different aspects of life and which will be discussed here.
And it is obvious that it will help the present young generation both from the angles of positivity and humanity. Here it may differ slightly from the ancient definitions of romance – artistic freedom of emotions, self-respect, wonder which were the chief characteristics during the 18th and early 19th century and all these are now partially obsolete. In this earth the so called civilians of civilized society are not interested or inclined to all these corners of romance or rather better to say, all have realized that it is nothing but wastage of time. Now a days all human being purchase ‘time’ and which is too precious at the moment in our daily lives. But it would be rather comfortable to discuss the whole matter in the light of the old definition and one may be rest assured that it can help to re-think or to inculcate the present generation. One may take it sure that it will definitely to some extent change the present crisis of our hearts, our souls. A prevailing sense of wonder or mystery surrounding the mutual attraction in a love affair [1] may start again to re-write on the pages of history.
Recently theology of love is a topic of debate in the field of Philosophy. Currently an essay was written by Marilyn McCord Adams, regarding love, Divine and human deals with a rich variety of issues related to divine and human love [2].
Love is a motivator to build a human being to be good. It changes a person totally from within. A modern philosopher, Michael Boylan, discusses his idea of love in his book The Good, The True and The Beautiful. He states that love is an action, and the concept leads us to change and grow as human beings. “Love is a powerful motivator for being good. The affective part of the good will is no poor sister to the rational. It can be an effective guide to good action” [3].
Romance will mingle with love and it will reach the soul of human being to explore a person with full energy and a better creation will definitely come out. It should be the mission to give this world a better green and fresh tomorrow and it is only possible when the present generation explore themselves with zeal after the self-realization of romance and love altogether.
Statements
The meaning of ‘romance’ was narrated and explained in different ways; such as in the stories, poems, songs, themes, speeches by many of our world famous poets, writers, singers, orators for the past decades. Musical Romanticism is predominantly a German phenomenon so much, so that one respected French reformer work defines it entirely in terms of ‘the role of music in the aesthetics of German Romanticism’ [4]. Romanticism with the music gradually grasps many legendary personalities like Mozart and eventually he prepared the way for Beethoven and Brahms [5]. Somebody said that the forty years in Great Britain from 1785 to 1825 the period generally construed as the age of Romanticism [5] where the enlightened world viewed the values of the modern industrial society. Cultural storm had taken an episodic part or role for a long period in the past centuries and music especially maintained its dominance on Romanticism. If one put the word ‘romance’ under a lens, a clean, very calm, polite image will be visible – one may realize the atmosphere like a welcome address of first spring. Romance is a chapter of verse, a language and it is full of dramatic senses with love, affection and truthfulness. Romance creates peace, it spreads the messages of peace. Romance can be made much more effective and beautiful by wisdom and being. Two common terms we usually use in our day-to-day life: touched and untouched. A human brain is tangible in some special condition as we know. But the wisdom, sense, consciousness is intangible. Being is the material or immaterial (abstract) existence of thing [6] and here it can include the concept which encompasses objective and subjective features of existence [6]. Being touches both the brain and the wisdom too. Romance a complete platform of romanticism [7], a vessel of metaphysical aspects. At the end of the day, night comes after his touch (kiss) on the forehead of dusk – gradually night becomes old and again all are drowned in the light of dawn – when night and day closely meet at their meeting place ( may call it heaven ) in our absence – a love blossomed and it is romance.
Nothing comes from nothing being and which is something – till date we are in search this notable idea [8] - One cannot see how or when flower blooms as it bloomed unnoticed to everyone. Only they see the bloomed flowers - a complete structure of feelings and realization from the very core of our heart. Romance is like a flower, we have to enjoy its beauty; its wonderful fragrance can change a life. It is the time when each of us should be much more careful about our nature – all are completely responsible for the preservation of nature. And to achieve this goal, one has to be romantic, a real love with the nature will give birth to a true nature lover. Love and likings are totally different in nature. One may love the nature for a certain moment but it may not be his or her likings and the reverse is also true. But in romance both are very much essential which we cannot ignore. It would be even grateful, if the statements in favour of romance compel anyone to re-think it, anyone take a deep breath drowning in the ocean of romance and start to build his or her dream earth as because in romance emotions have a very powerful role beyond thoughts.
Attributes
It will never be confined in the sphere of emotions and freedom only while it will be discussed romance for the present generation – It will be a best effort to cross the limit which are beyond emotions, freedom. It will spread in the world of metaphysical thoughts to encourage and to re- think in a new way to the present generation. It may help them to touch the soul after a close exercise on metaphysical understanding.
Under these ATTRIBUTES it is the intention to explain my modus operandi relating to my discussion on the topic dividing them in different categories:
Ennoblement of Nature
Nature creates lives (humans here) to promote or better to say for the upgradation of its totality. It plays a major role to make a real soul – a soul of a heart of broad mind. Emotions, healthy understanding exchange of self-respect are the natural elements which can insist a person to drive in a positive direction of romance – only then one will be able to approach towards metaphysical love. It would be better to draw a close look on the poem “To Autumn” by John Keats [9]. Everyone will observe all the natural elements which glorify each corners of beauties of romance and the poet was also aware regarding a short span of life time in this wonderful creation of nature, the world. Everybody should dedicate themselves, also entire soul (a call from within that is innate senses) for the love, romance, a conglomeration of romanticism [7] – then only all can make a new world and that will be their best homage to the nature – then only ennoblement of nature will be a successful one.
Consciousness and Embracing of Emotions
Unexplored romance remains incomplete without close attention to the key characteristics of romance and which is emotion. It is seen that feelings described in all forms including romantic and filial love, sorrow, fear, loneliness, self-respect etc.
Embracing of emotions is only possible when all these feelings are nurtured with care within a soul – the outcome will be an excellent romantic nature, which emerges from the power which exists within ourselves. The word ‘mine’ converts to ‘ours’ when emotional consciousness is awakened. Many poets explained this mode by their fantastic creation in the past. It can be mentioned here P. B. Shelly’s “The world’s great age begins now”. The individual thought and personal feelings have new role to make a new world of real metaphysical romance and one can agree that it will definitely change the present generation in a much more better way.
Honouring of Artistic Creativity
Generation after generations have put their endeavour to explore the Romantic Movement in their own style applying the importance of imagination and the creative impulse. If a person standing on the Himalaya observes all the sides, he or she will be overwhelmed by the magnificent thousands of natural beauties – he will submerge himself or herself in the surprising creation of nature – And one may believe this should be started right from childhood with a proper guidance of his or her parents or teachers. A love for natural beauties creates romance. Here it must be quoted the feelings of the great scientist Professor A. P. J. Abdul Kalam (former President of India) – “I believe that there are essentially three elements that go into creativity enlightened human beings: education with a good value system, integration of capacities and removal of social discrimination” [10]. If a person looks back to the first point of Professor Kalam that is ‘education with a good value system’ then we have to surrender our children, our backbone or spine of the future nation before the nature – they may educate themselves through nature – a love for the nature may develop and also romance for the nature finally. These are all can only build or invigorate the entity for the true values (a motion of love and romance) of life. Artistic creativity was honoured by the poets and writers and they observed the universe differently and also celebrated their visions in their own poetic languages. It can’t be possible to restrain oneself from saying one of the best works of William Wordsworth’s [11] poem, “The Prelude”: “ – Was it for this That one, the fairest of all Rivers! lov’d To blend his murmurs with my Nurse’s song ……” “ - Wisdom and spirit of the universe! Thou soul that art the eternity of thought!” Here we observe that the poet left no place unturned like river, mountains, song and which are the basic needs for the development of a true human soul. According to him wisdom and spirit of universe along with eternity of thought reciprocates breaths. These are all different parts of unexplored romantic views which can accelerate our next journey towards the creation of positive world ignoring all the negativities. And then only people can reach to a metaphysical field of romantic outlook.
Emphasis on Fairness and Aesthetic Beauty
Love and romance complementary of women’s natural beauty. One cannot deny this truth. Poets and writers praised their natural beauties neglecting anything artificial constraints. They described the Romantic era for their natural loveliness. William Shakespeare [12] in his Sonnet 130 written “ My mistress’ eyes are nothing like the sun, Coral is far more red than her lips red; If snow be white, why then her breasts are dun…………” It is prevailing one to praise the beauty of the object of one’s affection in comparison to beautiful things found in the nature and heaven, like starts, night sky, red roses, rising sun.
These all effect a soul – but when one has the self-respect and has an intention for romance to create or to influence others then the persons would have been well recognized the images conjured by Shakespeare. His creation of aesthetic beauty, a concoction of different elements teaches us to incline towards the nature. Here it is better to say “She walks in beauty, like the night” of Lord Byron’s poem “She walks in Beauty” which is another chapter of romance and stands before us with a clean and amazing view. Men become delighted when they realize the auscultation of nature in such a phenomena for the creation of natural aesthetic romance.
Concern About Desolation
Creation or imaginative thought or artistic ability is no longer only some words in the themes of romance, it is the main inspiration of romance and love and which can be explored from desolation. Solitary exploration comes from within and it is intimately involved with the nature. Nature originates romantic love, romantic love evolves self- realization, self-realization helps us to identify our soul, soul sprouts metaphysical love – all these respective stages of achievement need a solitary environment. Let me say some lines of Edgar Allan Poe’s poem [13] “Alone” - “From childhood’s hour I have not been As others were – I have not seen As others saw – I could not bring My passions from a common spring From the same source I have not taken My sorrow – I could not awaken My heart to joy at the same tone And all I lov’d – I lov’d alone” The poet enjoyed the lightning in the sky, his blue heaven and his illustration rejuvenates us to enjoy and to set up our imagination in the light of romance. Human being acquire the propensity to visualize actual and real meaning of romance and love. A heavenly pleasure of beauty and love fascinates our demands as a human being – compel us to think for the others, keeping aside the term ‘mine’. All the people can then only get peace and will feel relaxed; can start a progressive and superior thinking for the mankind and definitely implies for the world too. Desolation can take a better role to explore oneself to inculcate his or her romance to achieve the goal of metaphysical romantic ring.
Focus on Novelty
It is quite a known fact that ‘execution’ is the last item. But a focus on novelty, an unavoidable site depends on time and locations. It is learnt from history, people enrich themselves from antique items or theories – but while they make a plan to apply those ideas, a correct location and perfect time should match. Romance along with love for an innovation may be fruitful only then. The whole matter accelerates when one can moves far away leaving his or her native place. To switch on the mood for a real metaphysical romance might be unearthed and people on this earth can produce a better tomorrow. Someone also make friendship, affection with his or her love or Eros which rather told by Aristotle and his emphasis on ‘phila’ (friendship) than on Eros [14]; and the relationship of friendship and love would continue to be played out into and through the Renaissance [15] with Cicero for the Latins allude to that “it is love (amor) from which the word ‘friendship’ is derived [16].
Mystical and Inexplicable Matters
One cannot ignore the darker side of emotions and inexplicable matters that sometimes take a great role in romance. When it is here discussed the positive side of it, it has to be nurtured its mystical and inexplicable matters also. Guilt, depression, etc. are the negative feelings may arise while we start to create something and it is known creation is only possible when a person fall in love with that particular matter. Sometime mystical and supernatural activities lead us unknowingly towards the emotions and it is possible to form a better model of romantic love ignoring all odds and evils. Narration of such activities not at all required as the target to which we wish to reach, is achieved.
Employment in Personification
Sometimes starting from birds, stars, animals to many other objects or natural events (snowfall, storm, volcano etc.) come in the way of romance and love as an incarnation and all men apply their feelings towards their love with all these objects and events. When people see the blue sky at night or they see a bird flying at large in the sky or an unknown nice flower in the lap of a mountain, our mind receives a signal which excites us and they start to draw calm and strangely a beautiful picture in our eyes, they start to dream, our soul gets peace. It is the employment of personification which influences the romantic mood to convert into a real love of no demand. Many innovations start to bloom to strengthen nature and a radical change in favour of earth and mankind may take place.
In the galaxy of great men that world produced in the course of its more than thousands of years of recorded history, Swami Vivekananda shines as a luminary of the highest magnitude [17] – he regarded himself only a forerunner of Sri Ramakrishna’s mission on earth, as a messenger of his Master, as an interpreter of the significance of his life. It is believable that Romanticism for his works for the poor downtrodden masses and, later on, to take practical steps for their uplift [17] – which may be defined the actual manifestation of romance & love
Personal Focus
Romance and love is definitely a personal matter. Feelings and creativity are the personal matters which are the key factors of romance and love. And it is known that this is not possible to glorify the human civilization without metaphysical aspects, one of the factors of innovations. A place, rather proper location, perfect timings should be focussed by an individual to explore his or her romantic realization with the influences of natural ingredients, which have discussed earlier. At the end an effort is given to express a sincere feelings in a few lines of poems: Shall I recall our loves again I know, joy follows after pain And let the night come: strike the minute And let the night come: strike the minute. O my June night ! my sixteen mind ! A champagne kiss, straight to hit my head, I find, My wonder something small but alive ! I shall wait to see tomorrow’s dawn I will cross forest and mountain again I cannot pass a second far from you My hug on your snowy breast, a mountain view ! And let the night come: strike the minute And let the night come: strike the minute.
Conclusion
Unexplored metaphysical aspect of romance & love is a bonding of ‘felicitation to romance’ & ‘congratulations to love’. Its roaming field is discussed from different angles keeping in mind that it should reach its goal. A better green world will rise to rescue the population from all odds and evils. Present world will be experienced by a new dawn, by a fresh morning. Romance and love will mix up with the soul and it is welcome the present generation to explore themselves with full energy and zeal. If my present article can inspire youth of this present generation, that will be my success.
