Abstract

The article presents materials related to the reflection in the means of phaleristics, on thematic icons of the organs of the digestive system and collection materials on human gastroenterology, its structure and function. A significant number of thematic badges are presented - 48 copies, the obverse of which is colorfully decorated with screenshots of drawings dedicated to the structure of the most diverse organs of the human digestive system.

Introduction

Studying a different range of issues related to medicine and its history is always a relevant and in demand process. If you try to combine medical disciplines such as anatomy and physiology with such an area of collecting as phaleristics (collecting awards, thematic badges and signs, brooches), you can get a fairly large selection of collectible materials. In particular, in this original research article, a number of faleristic materials are presented, thematically dedicated to gastroenterology and the human digestive system, their structure and functioning. When preparing this research article, the author did not find any of the thematic articles, either in medical professional publications or on the websites of phalerist collectors, dedicated to gastroenterology and the organs of the human digestive system, its structure and functioning. In this regard, we can safely consider this original research article to be exclusive and the first in this area of research.

Aim of Study

The purpose of this research, author’s article is the presentation of the found collection research materials, thematically dedicated to both gastroenterology and the depiction of a variety of organs of the human digestive system, their structure, in reflection of phaleristics, on thematic badges.

Material and Methods

When writing this original research article, the author used the method of literary critical analysis of all available sources of information, both domestic and foreign. The most actively used Internet resources were related to dermatology and collecting, in particular, faleristics. As a result of a significant search work, collections of thematic badges (48 copies in total) dedicated to gastroenterology and the organs of the human digestive system were selected. All obtained illustrative images were converted by the author of the article into screenshots. At the same time, all illustrations in the “List of Sources” section have links to places where they were borrowed on the Internet, in order to comply with requirements related to copyright compliance. For links provided in articles.

Results and Discussion

I would like to start my story about gastroenterology and the organs of the human digestive system, in reflection of phaleristics, by presenting a selection of thematic badges (16 copies) dedicated to such a medical discipline as gastroenterology and the profession of a gastroenterologist. So, in Figure 1, this collection of badges is presented [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6].

The following Figure 2 shows a large selection of thematic badges dedicated to the structure and anatomical appearance of the human digestive system, which presents 32 copies of these brooch badges, jewelry made from different metals, incl. and precious (gold, silver) and bronze, often using several precious stones for artistic decoration of these brooches [1, 5, 6, 7, 8]. These are images of the stomach, liver, large and small intestines.

This completes the research, author’s, thematic article devoted to reflection in phaleristics, on badges, gastroenterology, and the anatomical structure of the human digestive system. The author is preparing materials for new research on the structure of various human organs and systems, in reflection of faleristics, on thematic badges.

Conclusion

  1. The author of this article managed, quite fully, informatively and colorfully, to reveal the purpose of the article.
  2. Presented in the form of illustrations, screenshots of thematic badges dedicated to gastroenterology and the anatomy of the human digestive system, quite informatively and exclusively, complemented the materials of this article.
  3. Such a means of collecting as faleristics can be used quite fully, informatively and colorfully in the preparation of research articles in almost any medical discipline.
