Abstract

Perimyocarditis refers to an acute inflammation of the pericardium and the underlying myocardium. Following a viral infection is its most common etiology, with reported cases associated with COVID-19 infection. Perimyocarditis in pregnancy is rare and much so this case with symptoms of palpitation and dyspnea presenting two weeks post-partum.
