Abstract

Cardiac monitoring, support, and treatment devices are frequently seen on chest radiographs. As cardiac therapeutic interventions evolve, these devices grow in prevalence and diversity. New devices are introduced on a regular basis, and although knowing their specific names is not critical, it is imperative to recognize their radiologic appearances, understand their purpose, and be aware of potential complications associated with their use.
