Nutritional, Therapeutic, and Environmental Effect of Oyster Mushrooms: An Editorial

Abstract

Oyster mushrooms (Pleurotus species) are recognized as a largely consumed and nutritionally rich variety, originating from Asia but nowadays cultivated globally. Primarily it was used as substitute food source particularly during First World War. Afterward, it has risen to develop the third most commercially produced mushroom wide-reaching due to its nutritional status.
