CNS Infection - Fungal Sepsis
Development of fungal CNS (Central Nervous System) infections is primarily determined by the immune status of the host. They are more frequently encountered inimmuno-compromised individuals like recipients of organ transplants, patientson chemotherapy, and human immunodeficiency virus infections. Early diagnosis and prompt initiation of appropriate therapy are crucial in preventing an often fatal outcome.
