Abstract

Dengue is one of the most important mosquito borne viral diseases affecting patients in the monsoon and post monsoon period. The present study was carried out to determine the seropositivity and seasonal variation of dengue infection in West Bengal. A total of 7655 samples were tested for Dengue IgM during the period November 2012 to October 2018 with 1899 samples being tested positive. The most affected age group was 21-30 years.
