Student’s motivation is the ‘Hall-mark’ of all efforts to be made in order to develop as well as enhance teacher’s positive qualities. Teacher’s positive qualities has no meaning unless until teachers are succeed in motivating their students in an academic field. After home, we all know that, educational institutions are the second most important socializing agent for students/children which develops interest and motivation for successful attainment in schools/collages and university. For this reason, the teachers play a major as well as essential role in enhancing and maintaining the level of motivation among students. There are number of positive qualities of teacher which seems to be pre-requisite for students’ motivation. The positive teacher’s qualities may include, teacher personality which must be pleasing and attractive, the teacher must always have a smiling face with balanced temperament, the teacher should be supportive and humanistic while dealing with students, the teacher must be knowledgeable with update knowledge in the subject concerned, the teacher should be highly expressive and good decision-maker with respect to student and or in respect to teacher taught relation, they should encourage two-way communication, they must be versatile, innovative, and open to new ideas, they should have the quality of flexibility in their planning, etc. In a nut shell, it will not be an exaggeration to say that teacher should be model for the students. In the light of the above contentions, it is imperative to mention that positive teacher’s qualities are of immense importance that in themselves are the sources of motivation for students. Moreover, it is to mention here that teacher’s attitude with regard to students should be very positive, i.e., a teacher should always keep in mind that all students want to acquire knowledge provided they are given opportunities to learn. The present deliberation will cover the above aspects in a comprehensive detail which will highlight the significance of positive teacher’s qualities for promoting students’ motivation in teacher-taught interactions for effective outcome.
