Emotional and Physical Results on Maternal Well-Being upon Realization that Off-Spring will Not Continue Familial Heritage of Roman Catholicism

Abstract

The primary purpose of this study is to access the emotional results of depression, PTSD, anxiety and insomnia of mothers who are practicing Roman Catholics, as well as the physical symptoms of blood pressure, weight gain or loss, hyperventilation and dizziness when coming to terms with the fact that their children will be the first generation to not continue in the familial tradition, often going back hundreds of years, of being practicing members of their Church.
