Infraorbital Nerve Hypoesthesia Secondary to a Benign Maxillary Retention Cyst: Case Report

Abstract

The retention cyst is a frequent finding in craniofacial massif’s images. They are usually asymptomatic and benign, and do not require endoscopic sinus surgery. There is scarse literature about its implantation on the orbital wall of the maxillary sinus. We present the case of a patient with a maxillary sinus roof cyst, and hypoesthesia in the territory of the infraorbital nerve.
