Abstract

During the 56th World Health Assembly in 2003, the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (WHO FCTC) was adopted with the goal of addressing the global tobacco epidemic. Parties to the FCTC have made a commitment and a responsibility to the international community to implement and enforce the normative content of tobacco control actions that aim to reduce both the demand and the supply of tobacco
