Experiential Agripreneurship Training in Sub-Saharan Africa: Integrating a Business Incubator into Postgraduate Livestock Education at the University of Buea

Abstract

This paper details the design, implementation, and initial outcomes of integrating a Student Business Incubator (SBI) approach into a Masters degree in Livestock Production at the University of Buea (UB), Cameroon. Its purpose is to present an empirically tested model for shifting agricultural education from theoretical instruction to experiential agripreneurship training to improve youth employment outcomes in the sector.
