International Journal of Lipid Research & Advances is a peer-reviewed, open access journal. Lipids generally do not dissolve in water, lipids are a large and varied group of naturally occurring organic compounds that are connected by their solubility in nonpolar organic solvents (e.g. carbon tetrachloride, methylene chloride, diethyl ether & benzene).
