Absar Ahmed Qureshi is a teaching faculty of Pharmacology with 17 years of teaching experience. Completed his Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, India and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India. He served as lecturer in India for 3 years, and joined King Khalid University in 2008 as lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology. He have published around 45 scientific papers in various national and international journals, and presented various oral poster presentations. He received two research grants on hepatoprotection and hypoglycemic drugs induced bone porosity from King Khalid University. He applied for a German patent on protective effect of our product on kidney disorders induced by cyclophosphamide. He is interested in wet lab experiments and screening some traditional medicine for their aphrodisiac potentials. He also bag best research award from his university on aphrodisiac potential of Zingiber officinale in male rats.
