I am a certified by the Romanian Board of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery as an ENT-HNS specialist from 2004 and as a ENT-HNS consultant from 2009.
I graduated “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Iasi, Romania in 1997 and I completed my residency program in ENT-HNS in the same university working in “Sf. Spiridon”University Hospital, in 2004. I completed a fellowship in nasal endoscopy – skull base surgery in 2006 in Rennes – France Medical University. In 2004 I graduated my PhD program studying the multimodal approach in sinonasal malignant tumors.
Today I am an Associate Professor at “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Iasi – Romania, teaching students and training residents.
My main domains of interests are endoscopic surgery of the nose and paranasal sinuses, skull base surgery, surgery for both benign and malignant tumors in the head and neck area, hoarseness/voice disorders, laryngeal microsurgery and phono-surgery, infections of the deep spaces of the neck and mediastinum. I am focused on the “border-line” pathology working closely with the neurosurgeons, ophtalmology surgeons and plastic surgeons and other specialists (radiotherapist, oncologist, clinical pharmacologist) in order to approach in a multimodal way the complex pathology in this area.
