Shigeo Akashi is a professor at Tokyo University of Science and a member of the Expert Committee on Promoting Scientific Education for Japanese Senior High Schools approved by Japanese Government. He was nominated to be an invited speaker of Asian Mathematical Conference which was held in Korea in 2013 owing to the study discussing the way of application of Hilberts 13th problem to the multi-dimensional data compression theory. Moreover, he was awarded by Cisco Networking Academy in Japan the title of Distinguished Cisco Certified Active Instructor in Japan.
