Non Systemic Vasculitic Neuropathy Presenting as Charcots Joint : A Rare Case Report

Abstract

Vasculitic neuropathy is one of the feature of the systemic vasculitis whereas in a minority it is noticed in isolation and is termed as non systemic vasculitic neuropathy. The three common patterns of presentations of the vasculitic neuropathy are mononeuritis multiplex, asymmetric polyneuropathy, distal symmetric polyneuropathy. But here we report a 42 year old female presenting with features suggestive of charcots joint of the foot. On evaluation it was diagnosed to be Non systemic vasculitic neuropathy which is an uncommon presentation of vasculitic neuropathy as charcots joint.
