Biography

Ahmet Eroglu is a Professor of Anesthesiology and Reanimation at the Medical Faculty of Karadeniz Technical University in Trabzon, Turkey. He is also a specialist in Critical Care Medicine. He is Consultant of Critical Care Medicine and Orthopedic Anesthesia. He has numerous publications in the peer-reviewed journals. His research interests have focused on general and local anesthetics, total intravenous anesthesia, hypotensive epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, orthopedic anesthesia and analgesia, acute pain control, postoperative analgesia, patient controlled analgesia, hazards of anesthetic gases, clinical toxicology, nutrition and critical care medicine. He serves as a reviewer in several journals, and he is the member of the editorial board of some journals.

Research Interests

General and local anesthetics and total intravenous anesthesia.
