Debabrata Banik was involved different medical organization related to education, training & social activities from my early medical life. He was elected as a central councillor of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) from 1986-1988 & became life member of BMA. he was involved in different social and medical activities of BMA specially related to education, journal & social activities (free medical camp). he did participate different national & international conference as BMA representative. He is Also involved in different policy making process in health sector of Bangladesh. Now I am elected General Secretary in Bangladesh society of Anesthesiologists (BSA) for four times (2009-till). He was the member of organizing committee of 1st & 5th SAARC-Association of Anesthesiologists Congress at Dhaka. He was elected as organizing secretary in 10th SAARC-AA Congress 2013, February, 2013 held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was a General Secretary of SAARC-AA (2013-2015) become Coordinator of SAARC-AA. As a faculty member he attendant participated in different National & International conference as a faculty member on anaesthesia, Pain & Critical Care Medicine. He was the key person to organize the post graduate course in Anaesthesiology & critical care medicine in Bangladesh. He is also organize CPR, Primary trauma care & SAFE course (WFSA) in different medical college.
