Szu-Yuan Wu is a highly published and cited author who is based at Taipei Medical University. He got his PhD degree from Institute of Toxicology, College of Medicine, National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan and MPH degree from College of Public Health National Taiwan University. His primary research interest is to explore and develop new compound for radiation protection and radiation sensitizer. His research is also aimed at cancer epidemiology. This allows for personalisation in cancer research, with an aim to achieve primary prevention, early diagnosis and targeted therapies. The compounds development used in his lab are used in studies of cancers of the lung, head and neck cancer, skin, colon and breast.
