Biography

Dr. Abhijit Ghosh devoted on research and studies on development issues. During next five years, he can contribute for the growth of the university as a Centre of generating knowledge base. This knowledge base will benefit to formulate informed based policy decisions. He has regularly carried out research as Project Director in different domain as assigned by the Authority, sponsored by national and international agency. Extensive field survey was part of all these research studies. Apart from this, he regularly participate and present in national, international seminars, conferences, training programme. He coordinated development dialogue, seminar, training programme, brainstorming session sponsored by national, international agencies. Regularly publish his research papers in reputed national, international journals. He review papers for different national, international journals.
All these activities, has helped broadening his domain of research. His research interests are Human Development Such as Education & Health, Applied Econometrics, Regional Economics.
