Biography

Inyang Asuquo Atting is a seasoned teacher, public health administrator and a researcher in the University of Uyo, Nigeria. Dr. Atting holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree in Medical Parasitology and a Master of Community Health (Public Health) from the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He has varied research interests spanning from Medical and Public Health Parasitology/ Entomology, Epidemiology, Primary Health Care (PHC) and Health Impact Assessment (HIA) of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Studies. Presently, his focused is on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) including Malaria, Onchocerciasis, Soil Transmitted Helminthiasis; Vector-borne Parasitic Diseases and Enteropathogens. He has to his credit over forty published papers in peer-reviewed journals of international scope, representation and location. He has participated and contributed to two UNDP/ World Bank/ WHO/ TDR funded Multi-centre Research Studies with published International Reports and attended conferences all over the world with paper presentations.
