Biography

Professor Olena Welchinska, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, is a distinguished Ukrainian pharmaceutical chemist and academic at Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv. She has extensive experience in medicinal chemistry, toxicological and forensic chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, and the synthesis of biologically active compounds. Her research focuses particularly on the development and analysis of substances with potential antitumor and anticonvulsant activity. She is the author of 850 synthesized compounds, 192 patents, and 9 student textbooks, with numerous scientific publications in international journals. Professor Welchinska is also actively involved in international scientific cooperation and is a member of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and the International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT).
