Seung Yup Ku, M.D., Ph.D. is currently Professor at Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Seoul National University Hospital, Seoul National University. He received M.D. and Ph.D. at Seoul National University (2013 QS World Univ Ranking 35th), and worked as Post-doctoral fellow at Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility, Cornell University Weill Medical College in New York, USA. He has been an active member at SGI, ASRM, NAMS, ACAM, ISFP, termis, NYAS, and AOCOG, and served as Secretary General at KOSGE, KSRM, KSAR, etc. He has also served as reviewer of scientific abstract at SGI, ASRM and NAMS. He has patents in human embryonic stem cell field and received awards from KOFST, KSRM, KSO, and many others. He has been interviewed by Korean major newspapers and broadcasters dozens of times. He has received numerous research grants in the field of infertility, reproductive medicine and stem cell research. He has published over 120 book chapters and papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals domestically and internationally.
