The practice of Blandina Lipkova consists of inpatient care in Faculty Hospital Zilina, Slovakia and outpatient care in the private eye clinic OPHTHAMED. The spectrum of surgeries includes cataract surgery, vitreo- retinal surgery and she had performed photorefractive keratectomy and LASEK in the private centre VIKOM in the past. She has experience with medical retina too. She participated in the anti- VEGF treatment process since 2007, the beginning of anti VEGF use in Slovakia. Preparing of DME treatment guideline in Slovakia was her activity together with Professor Petr Kolar and Docent Janka Stefanickova. She took part in many courses and professional internships, the participation in Munich and Antwerp was a real benefit. She had successfully completed the doctoral course in 2012. Her other activities include participating in clinical trials (wet andry AMD, DME, dry eye disease) and publishing as well as lecturing professional papers. She is a member of Slovak Ophthalmology Society.
