Shengjun Lu has a Bachelor of Science degree from Central China Normal University, a masters degree and a doctors degree in immunology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. From 2011 to 2014, he did postdoctoral work at the University of Washington and South Carolina Medical University. He presided over two national natural funds and one provincial natural fund, and participated in many provincial, ministerial and national projects. He is a member of the Youth Committee of the Parasitology branch of the Chinese Medical Association and a member of the professional committee of the Parasitology society of the Hubei Preventive Medicine Association. He is mainly engaged in immunological research related to parasitic diseases and tumors. At present, his research projects focus on the role and mechanism of NKG2D, its ligand and innate lymphocytes in parasitic infection related diseases.
