Biography

Yasser Abuouf obtained his B.S. and MSc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Alexandria University. During his graduate study, Abuouf improved a leak detection system to be used in Airports to detect small leaks. Abuouf obtained his PhD from Egypt-Japan University in Science and Technology (EJUST) in biomedical engineering. Abuouf work in his PhD was focused on coronary artery disease (CAD) and its diagnostic methods. His work presents an assessment of Fractional Flow Reserve method for moderate stenoses. In 2021, Abuouf became a Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Alexandria University specialized in Fluid mechanics.
