Dr. Bhanu Maturi is currently working as a Heart Failure and Transplant Fellow at UT Houston, Texas. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor of Medicine for the UAB Heersink Montgomery Internal Medicine program. He pursued an Internal Medicine residency at UAB, Montgomer and he is very passionate about teaching, so he continued to work with the same program from which he have graduated. He is also an Academic Hospitalist working for a Team health organization at Baptist Medical Center south. As his interest in cardiology grew, he started his fellowship in heart failure and transplant at UT Houston, Texas. His interest in research is also evident to his contributions to medical journals, where he have reviewed numerous articles and have published several.
