Biography

Xinyu Cao is currently PhD candidate studying Biomedical Engineering in University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), Chicago, IL, USA. She completed her MS and BS in Major Biomedical Engineering from Changchun University of Science and Technology, Changchun, China. She have multiple experiences both in industries and academic career, such as writing Chinese patents, software copywrites, field business trips, mobile development, and animal experiments, clinical trials for biological research which cover a wide knowledge and implement of electrical engineering, signal processing, image processing, data analysis, optic medical instruments, electrophysiology, anatomy, immunology and so on. Now her keen focus is on cardiology and ion channel related diseases

Research Interests

Cardiology Atherosclerosis Pulmonary Metabolism and Ophthalmology for Underlying Interactions Ion Channel Mutations Immunofluorescence.
