Dr. Yoshiaki Yokoi graduated from the Medical School of the University of Tokushima in 1975, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Tokushima University Hospital and a fellowship in Cardiology at the University of Saskatchewan, Canada in 1983. After joining the staff of Kishiwada Tokushukai Hospital in 1985 as the Director of Cardiology, he has been active in both clinical work and research. He started the Endovascular Live Coursesof the Japan Endovascular Treatment Conference as thechairperson since 2008. From 2010, heisvisiting professor of the School of Medicine at Kinki University and teachesInterventional Cardiology. He served as editorial board member of the Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions Journal from 2010 until 2016, and is currently an editorial board member of the Japanese Society of Interventional Cardiology Journal.
