Dr. Songyuan Luo is an interventional cardiologist and cardiovascular researcher with extensive experience in coronary interventions, aortic disease management, and reno-sympathetic denervation (RDN). He completed a joint PhD training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and has led multiple national and provincial research grants as Principal Investigator. His research focuses on abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), inflammation, mechanosensing, and hypertension.
Dr. Luo has authored 18 peer-reviewed publications, including articles in Nature Communications, Cardiovascular Research, Developmental Cell, and Pharmacology & Therapeutics. His work has been cited over 1,200 times.
He serves as a frequent peer reviewer for multiple international journals and is actively involved in several national and international cardiovascular societies.
