Biography

Bharti Goel is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist working in a 1000-bed tertiary care teaching hospital in North India. In her twenty years of professional career, she has been doing undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, clinical case management, and research. She has guided more than thirty post-graduate students in their clinical research and is a member of the institutional research committee. Her special area of interest is Gynecologic Oncology and she has been performing advanced cancer surgeries for the past ten years following her training in surgical oncology from Tata Memorial Hospital and Cancer Research Center. She has numerous awards and research publications to her credit. Recently, she completed her Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and is committed to working towards the prevention and remediation of diseases affecting womens reproductive health. Currently, her work is focused on the management of abnormal uterine bleeding which is a major cause of morbidity among women of reproductive and peri-menopausal age group.
