Ibrahim Mohammad Saeed SHNAWA got his Ph.D., in 1996.His interest is immunology of microbial infections in man and laboratory animals .He taught and teach immunology both for under and postgraduate students in university of Babylon for 20 years. He have published 100 papers in regional and international journals and from the years 1998 till 2016, published eight books abroad Amazon USA and five books in the Arabian world-Jordan ,Dar Dijla .So far postgraduate supervision is concerned he graduated 20 MSC and 21 Ph.D. students in University of Babylon from 1998-2015.Scientific papers ,books and postgraduate supervision were spanning several aspects of immunology like mucosal immunology ,ageing immunology ,immunomodulation and lectin immune-biology . For the administrative university works he had the post of acting dean for postgraduate studies and scientific research to the years 1998 till 2003 at the College of science Babylon University and served the post of Manager of postgraduate studies at University of Babylon main office to the years 2005-2006.He is chief of scientific promotion board Qasim University Qasim Iraq. His research identity in scholar Google citation is iH2,Thompson-Router identity is 2750.He is member of SMI,WASET,FIRN and member of editorial board for international science index(WASET) international journal of vaccine and vaccination ,MedWin vaccine and vaccination open asses ,Science alert journals and expert reviews of vaccine immunology and informatics(Italy).He is lead guest editor in chief for a special issue "Advances in Oral Immunity" ,Science Publishing Group/Journal of biomedical and life Sciences 3(4-1). He had been distinguished Babylon university professor to the year 2001-2002.,and got Winston Churchill research Award in Immunology 2015.
