Lucio Mango graduated cum laude in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome La Sapienza (1974). He specializes cum laude in Nuclear Medicine (1977) and Endocrinology (1980) at the same University. He holds a masters degree in health economics at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is Director of the II level University Master in Health Management and of the I level University Master in Tutorial methodologies and clinical teaching at the International University of Rome (UNINT). He was Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine of the S Camillo Forlanini General Hospital in Rome (from 1999 to September 2019). He is Professor of Health Management at the International University of Rome (UNINT) (from 2010 to today) in Rome. He has published over 270 articles in Nuclear Medicine, Endocrinology, Public Health, Risk Management and Ethics, and is a member of the editorial board of over 20 international journals.
