Riyadh K Lafta borne in Baghdad 1960, graduated from Baghdad Medical College (MD) 1984, got the PhD 1994, Community physician, Professor in Epidemiology and research work, Mustansiriya University, Iraq, Also Affiliated Prof. in Global Health Department. University of Washington, Seattle, USA since 2011. Worked as a consultant with UNFPA for seven years (2005-2012), and as a senior researcher with many universities in USA (Johns Hopkins, Columbia, University of Washington, and Simon Fraser University of Canada), 33 years of experience in Health projects and surveys, nominated for many awards, more than 90 published articles.
