Biography

Hashemipour has a Clinical PhD degree in Acupuncture and Oriental medicine from Beijing University of Chinese medicine. He also holds a foreign Medical doctor (MD) degree in Western medicine. He has been practicing Integrative Medicine for more than 20 years. He is a Licensed Acupuncturist at New York. He has also passed the USMLE tests (The United States medical licensing exams).
He is highly respected as a doctor of both eastern and western medicine today, and he has worked with patients all over the world. Thanks to his wide range of experience and skills, Hashemipour has been practicing on pain management, emotional disorders, infertility, MS, Parkinson and neurologic disorders.

He is professor at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM), USA. He has been teaching Advanced Integrative medicine for Doctorate program. He also has been teaching “Advanced Integrative Psychiatry” for Doctor program at AAAOM college in Minnesota as.

He has been appointed to be NCCAOM Committee Member. NCCAOMis National Certification Commission for Acupuncture Licensure in USA.

He has been practicing Integrative medicine, Integrative Acupuncturist, at Manhattan, NY in a very busy clinic focusing on psychosomatic disorders, Pain management, life style and Neurodegenerative disorders. He is also an Alternative Medicine patent-developer.

He was an assistant professor in Beijing University of Chinese medicine, where he practiced and taught Integrative medicine for more than 7 years. Having two doctorate degrees in Western and Eastern medicine has led him to have an integrative approach to a majority of diseases.

He was selected to work as an integrative medicine doctor in the Olympic village during Beijing Olympic Games in 2008. He also performed similar work during the Asian Games of 2010. These two events refined his experience in oriental medicine-based sports medicine and opened his path to teaching many intensive courses in the field of Tuina (Asian Body Work) and Acupuncture in Sport medicine.

He has compiled and edited a book in the field of Oriental medicine named Diagnostics which was published by PMPH in 2008. He also holds an advanced certificate in TuiNa (Asian body work) from Dongzhimen Hospital affiliated to Beijing University of Chinese medicine.
