Rajiv Lochan Tiwari started his present work with Dr. Joseph T. Rogers, at University of Southern California. His present work typically involves mechnism behind quiscence of Muscle Satellite cell(MuSc) and Muscle regeneration after injury. We are typically looking for the an systemic factor which induces MuSc quiscence following partial hepatectomy. During his Post Doctoral research work with Prof. Hartmut Geiger, he made unique nucleotide sequence library (Barcode Library) to specifically mark different Hematopoetic stem cell. The technology gives us an upperhand to answer various question related to the clonality. It provided single cell level depth for tracking the fuctional contribution of stem cell over time. We published the optimization process and potential advantage of our barcode library in nature pulishing group. Further a detailed research article of the study is under preparaton and will be communicated in coming future. . He was first author of the initial description of the novel interaction between IRAK-1 and PKC-delta. A subsequent first author publication described Ox-LDL induced sterile inflamation as an important step during onset of Atherosclerosis,a diseases of aged arteres. He received young Investigator Award for my Post doctoral research at Regional Center for Biotechnology at Gurgaon,India. He also awarded with the DS Kothari PostDoctoral Fellowship by University Grant Commision,India.
