Shaji John Kachanathu have received my PhD in Sports PT from Faculty of Medicine, Punjabi University, Patiala, India and MPTh in Sports Medicine from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India and also earned my MS in Psychotherapy & Counseling from IIPMS, Mumbai, India. He currently works as a faculty in College of Applied Medical Sciences at King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh, and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He have held various academic positions for both post-graduate and under-graduate courses at various Universities before joining KSU. My professional career outside of academia includes Sports Physiotherapist for various sports events such as, World cup Hockey, Commonwealth Games etc. and also empanelled as Doping Control Officer (DCO) for National Anti-Doping Authority (NADA) under Sports Ministry of India. Currently working as a part time consultant PT at Doctor-e-Clinic.com, also served as a Consultant PT in various reputed hospitals around Delhi NCR. In addition to being in academic and clinical, He have presented research findings in various conferences and authored several journal publications and also authored a few books, including "Basic Principles of Taping Techniques in Sports Rehabilitation"; "Understanding of Exercise Induced Muscle Soreness" etc. He also active as a board member of Atharva Bharat Research Foundation, founder president of the Chartered Academy of Physical Therapy (CAPT) and active member of many professional bodies like Member of American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), Member of Indian Association of Sports Medicine (IASM), Member of Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Member of Saudi Physical Therapy Association (SPTA) and has been honored as a Reviewer and Editorial member for several Journals.
