Biography

Carmelina Maurizio is an adjunct lecturer of English language at the University of Turin. He was an English teacher for the past 30 years, currently involved in several English language teachings courses, English for Special Purposes, in various departments. He has bachelors degree in Modern Foreign Languages and Literature (English and Russian), Masters Degree in Cultural Anthropology, Specialisation in Relational Skills, Psychology Specialisation in Didactics and Special Educational Needs Specialisation in Didactics and Technology. He is an author and journalist, publishing articles and books on teaching for special educational needs and on innovations in teaching and learning English and foreign languages in general. Expert about international projects, as an evaluator for the Italian National Agency INDIRE - INAPP. An expert in teacher training, in-service and future about issues related to multilingualism and multiculturalism, through seminars and conferences, in Italy and in other European and non- European countries.
