Hsiao Feng Cheng is an Associate Professor at the Department of Educational Psychology and Counseling, National Taiwan Normal University. Her expertise includes positive psychology, art therapy for the elderly, and addiction therapy. Recently, she has published several papers in Taiwan’s core academic journals, focusing on the application of positive psychology to smartphone addiction and the use of positive emotions in expressive arts activities for seniors. Currently, she is engaged in a government funded inter disciplinary project with computer science experts to develop an AI conversational system to support psychological counseling. Her recent research covers diverse populations, including the elderly, incarcerated substance abusers, and women. She have also served as an associate editor, editorial board member, and reviewer for prominent Taiwanese academic journals. In the future, she aspire to engage in more international academic cooperation and contribute to the field of psychological research.
