Gaurav Thapliyal is Professor and Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology at S-VYASA Deemed to be University, Bengaluru, India. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology and has extensive academic and clinical experience across India, the United Kingdom, and Oman. His professional expertise includes psychological assessment, clinical intervention, neuropsychological assessment, rehabilitation, and clinical training. He is actively involved in teaching, postgraduate and doctoral research supervision, curriculum development, and clinical education. His research interests include cognitive functioning, neuropsychology, mental health, psychological interventions, meditation, and behavioural health. He has published research papers and book chapters and has supervised research dissertations at M.Phil., Psy.D., and M.Sc. levels. He also contributes to academic publishing as an Associate Editor, Editorial Board Member, and peer reviewer for several journals. He is registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of professional psychological associations.
