Biography

Kuppan Chetty Ramanathan received his ph.D in Indian Institute of Technology in 2010. He is currently holding the position of Professor and Head, Centre for Automation and Robotics, Department of Mechatronics Engineering at Hindustan Institute Of Technology And Science, Chennai, he bring a wealth of experience to the field. Before his current role, he ventured into entrepreneurship, dedicating five years to Robotics education. He have also served as an academic/research faculty, contributing to the Robotics, Automation, and Manufacturing (RAM) research strength at the School of Engineering, Monash University Sunway Campus, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with over 60 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences, he have successfully completed six funded research projects worth about INR 1.87 crore sponsored by The Royal Academy of Engineering, UK, Mohe Malaysia etc.
