Mahmoud Ismail is a Senior Consultant Clinical & Chemical Pathologist with over 20 years of experience in laboratory medicine across Saudi Arabia and Egypt. He is currently leading advanced laboratory operations and quality systems at Prince Mansour Military Hospital, Taif. He is an expert in CAP, JCI, ISO 15189, and CBAHI accreditation standards. He specializes in clinical chemistry, endocrine, metabolic, renal, and toxicology diagnostics. He is a strong leader in quality management systems, risk management, and patient safety initiatives. And he is experienced in Lean Six Sigma–based laboratory workflow optimization and turnaround time improvement. He also supervises hospital-wide Point-of-Care Testing (POCT) programs. Lecturer and trainer in clinical pathology and laboratory medicine. He is an active researcher in clinical biomarkers, infection control, and healthcare quality improvement. He holds an MD and MSc in Clinical & Chemical Pathology with additional postgraduate diplomas and international certifications.
