As PI, she has received several grants (e.g., ACS IRGs, RO3) investigating risk factor of breast cancer, and how socioeconomic factors (e.g., neighborhood disadvantage), and molecular/genetic biomarkers (e.g., allostatic load, biological aging markers, mitochondrial DNA) may contribute to racial disparities in breast risk and clinical outcomes.
