Biography

Omar Al Rawajfah currently is an associate professor of critical care at the Faculty of Nursing, Al al-Bayt University in Al-Mafrq, Jordan. He completed his PhD from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, USA in 2007. During his academic life, he was awarded different recognized honors. He is an active member of national-level committees in Jordan and Oman related to vital health and nursing issues in both countries. He chaired and served in organizing and scientific committees of various international nursing conferences. Dr. AL Rawajfah received prestigious grants to conduct and publish numerous studies relevant to critical care and infection control. His research has been published in well-recognized specialized journals. Dr. Al Rawajfah is a strong advocate of infection control. He is also passionate about mentoring and guiding novice faculty to progress in their management skills granted his extensive experience in holding leadership positions.
