Biography

Julieta Rodini Engracia De Moraes a Full Professor of Veterinary Pathology at Sao Paulo State University (UNESP) in Jaboticabal, Brazil. She hold a Ph.D. in Experimental and Comparative Pathology from the University of Sao Paulo and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Aquaculture at the University of Porto, Portugal. With over 240 publications, my research focuses on the health and immunology of aquatic animals, particularly investigating disease resistance in species like Nile tilapia. Her work explores the effects of dietary supplements, immunization, and immune responses, contributing to more sustainable aquaculture practices. As an active mentor, she guides postgraduate students in veterinary pathology and aquatic health, fostering future experts in these fields.
