Biography

Dr. Lotfy is an assistant professor at biotechnology and life Science department, Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Advanced Sciences, Beni-Suef University, Egypt. He is interested in mesenchymal stem cells and neural stem cells research and their therapeutic potential. He obtained his PhD in stem cell research from Zagazig University, Egypt. He had two post-doctoral training at Wolfson Centre for Stem Cells, Tissue Engineering and Modelling (STEM), the University of Nottingham, UK and at the Institute of Brain Science, Nagoya City University, Japan. He has multiple publications in high impact journals and he is a reviewer for BioMed Research International, Journal of Integrative Neuroscience, and Cytotechnology Journal. He is a member of several scientific societies such International Society for Cellular Therapy ISCT and International Society for Stem Cell Research ISSCR.
