Biography

Megha Kumar completed her Ph.D. from Clemson University, USA in the field of Developmental biology. She is a DST-INSPIRE Faculty at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CSIR-CCMB), Hyderabad. She is a scientific expert in the area of vertebrate developmental biology with over 10 years of research experience in studying embryogenic development using different model systems such as zebrafish, mouse and chick. Her research lab studies cell division during embryonic development and the mitotic aberrations which result in disorders such as microcephaly, aneuploidy syndromes and embryonic lethality.
