Biography

Samuel Wang obtained his Ph.D. in Life Sciences from Academia Sinica, Taiwan, and pursued his post-doctoral training at the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, A*STAR in Singapore in 2008. He has experience in a wide range of fields, including neuroscience, cancer cell biology, cell polarity, and mechanobiology by using different types of model organisms as the research models, including the mice, fruit flies, and the C.elegans. Currently, he is working in the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, A*STAR as a research scientist working on the hESCs-based in vitro gastrulation model for fundamental embryogenesis study and as a screening platform to identify potential developmental toxins using advanced microscopy and AI-based deep-learning methodologies.

Research Interests

Embryogenesis teratogens polarity cellular force cardiogenesis.
