Biography

Eiman Abdel Meguid is a Senior Lecturer of Clinical Anatomy at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB) and a medical graduate. She is passionate about Anatomical Sciences including Embryology. She has multiple publications in high impact journals and is an international visiting Scholar/Guest Speaker for Weill Cornell Medicine, NY. She has previously acted as a member of the Career Development Committee of the American Association of Clinical anatomy, as a member of the Task Group of the Research Committee of the IFAA, as a member of the Scholarship and Research Committee (SARC) and the Research Ethics at QUB. She is a reviewer for the Clinical Anatomy and the Anatomical Sciences Education Journals and a Judge for the presentations of the AACA meetings. Through the previously mentioned roles, she had identified key topics for the organisation of the meetings of the AACA and SARC. Through her membership of the Risk Management Group at Royal College of Surgeons and the Research Ethics Committee at QUB, she gained lot of experience in reviewing and generating policies for educational and research-related activities. She is also an examiner at the Royal College of Surgeons.

Stem Cell Embryology Using Technology and innvovative methodologies in teaching.
